Between Shelburne and Barrington, this cottage offers seclusion and privacy.

Explore one of Nova Scotia’s many coastal inlets in your own 2-person kayak. Spend a lazy day reading and gazing out to sea. Take a walk through a wooded trail. Discover peace and quiet in this secluded cottage.

Perched a top a 40-foot bluff; Bay Bluff Cottage offers a commanding view of the bay below and the ocean beyond. Designed by architect Brian MacKay-Lyons and recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Award of Merit in 1992; this unique cottage was inspired by Nova Scotia’s Maritime tradition. An arched roof that is reminiscent of the hull of a boat covers the open concept design. The view is appreciated through walls of moveable floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The living room features a freestanding fireplace and opens to a spacious covered deck. Natural materials soften the modernity of the style.

Number of Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms. Downstairs, the Master Bedroom has a queen size bed and a spectacular view of the ocean through floor to ceiling windows. Upstairs is a loft with two single beds and a sliding patio door that opens on to a small balcony

The cottage comes equipped with a downstairs four-piece bath. Towels are provided.
